Step 2: Schedule Your First Visit

Thanks to North Carolina's Direct Access, you won't need a prescription or referral to get started. This removes unnecessary delays, which can save you time, money, and potentially reduce your recovery time. We can schedule your visit right away and work closely with you to find a time that fits into your busy schedule so you can start your recovery as soon as possible.

Who Should I Schedule With?

To ensure you're matched with the right specialist, here’s a quick guide on who to schedule your appointment with:

  • Athletes/Active Adults: If you are an athlete looking for help with an injury of any joint, please schedule with Courtney. She specializes in helping athletes return to their sport safely and effectively.

  • Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) or Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder?:  Do you have a joint injury or ongoing pain due to one of these connective tissue conditions? Schedule with Courtney. She will work with you to tailor a recovery program that will address the specific challenges of hypermobility and connective tissue disorders, helping you regain stability and function safely.

  • Neck & Low Back Pain: Both Courtney and Stephanie treat neck and low back pain, so you can schedule with either of them based on their availability.

  • Balance & Dizziness: If you are looking for help with a concussion, dizziness, or other balance issues, please schedule with Stephanie, as she specializes in these disorders.

  • Dysautonomia or POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome): If you suspect you are struggling with the challenging symptoms, getting clear data is the first step toward getting help. Schedule with Stephanie for a specialized non-diagnostic assessment. This includes the NASA Lean Test and precise monitoring of your blood pressures and heart rates. We will compile this objective data and provide you with essential information on where to begin your journey with this condition. Please understand that we DO NOT diagnose these conditions. Our primary role is to equip you with the accurate data you need to empower your conversation with a diagnosing medical provider or specialist.

What treatment is right for me?

Initial Evaluation Clinic (60 Minutes):

  • This evaluation is perfect for: Orthopedic injuries (Shoulder, Elbow, Hip, Knee, or Ankle pain), chronic low back or neck pain, concussions, and vestibular issues (dizziness, vertigo, balance problems). We also offer Wellness Evaluations for those who want to improve their overall strength and mobility.

Treatment Clinic Visits (60 Minutes):

  • These sessions are designed to set you up for success. We will build on the plan we established during your initial evaluation, progressing exercises, providing hands-on therapy, and updating your home exercise program to ensure you are consistently moving toward your goals.

Treatment Clinic Visits (30 Minutes)

  • These visits are an option for established patients. They are designed as focused check-ins to make quick adjustments to your plan or to perform a specific treatment. Please keep in mind that a full evaluation and comprehensive treatment cannot be completed during this session.

Step 3: Your First Appointment

Once you're scheduled, we'll send you a link to fill out all the necessary forms online. Completing these beforehand helps us make the most of our time together. When you arrive, please wear comfortable, athletic clothing so we can easily assess your movement in the area we will be treating.

We're here to guide you every step of the way, from the moment you contact us until you achieve your goals. We can't wait to meet you and help you on your journey to feeling great!

Step 4: Your recovery journey begins immediately.

At our core, we believe the majority of your successful rehabilitation can be performed at home through consistent exercise. That's why, for four weeks after your initial appointment, your therapist will actively follow up with you via text or email.

Our consistent follow-up ensures you feel confident and stay on the right track. If your injury is acute, you hit a roadblock, or you require more one-on-one assistance, we can easily schedule an in-person visit. Our primary goal is to empower your recovery with high-quality care right at home.
